Socializza acceptable use policy
Draft, not in force. Version 0.1 of 6 October 2026.
This policy takes effect on {{EFFECTIVE_DATE}}.
This policy lists the uses of Socializza that are not permitted. It forms part of the terms of service. "We" means ITALDRONI S.r.l. "You" means the customer. Other terms have the meaning given in section 2 of the terms of service.
1. Who it applies to
1.1. This policy applies to you, your members and your agents.
1.2. You are liable for what your members and your agents do with Socializza. Every request that an agent sends within a grant you created counts as your instruction.
1.3. The prohibitions apply in every mode. They also apply to what an agent publishes in autonomous mode, without approval.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use Socializza to publish, send or disseminate:
- illegal content;
- images, videos or voices of a person, falsified or altered with artificial intelligence systems and capable of misleading as to their genuineness, without that person's consent (see Art. 612-quater of the Codice penale, the Italian Criminal Code);
- deepfakes without disclosure of their artificial origin (Art. 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689); for evidently artistic, creative, satirical or fictional works the limited disclosure that the same provision permits is sufficient;
- harassment, hateful content and threats;
- content in which you impersonate another person, a business or an organisation;
- child pornography or child sexual abuse material.
3. AI label
You may not remove, cover, make illegible or otherwise hide the AI label where the law or the AI labels require it. Section 10 of the terms of service states when Socializza applies the label.
4. Prohibited conduct on the platforms
You may not use Socializza for:
- sending spam, that is unsolicited content in bulk or repeatedly;
- inauthentic behaviour, such as running accounts that mislead as to the identity of whoever runs them;
- coordinated manipulation, that is several accounts acting together to mislead as to the origin, reach or following of content;
- fake engagement, such as likes, followers, comments or views that are bought, exchanged or artificially generated;
- breaching the terms of a platform or its developer policies.
5. Third-party personal data
5.1. Through Socializza you receive personal data of third parties, such as usernames and the text of comments, mentions and direct messages.
5.2. In a business workspace you may not collect or process this data beyond the purposes stated in your privacy notice.
5.3. In a personal workspace you may not use it beyond purely personal or household use.
6. Use of the service
You may not:
- circumvent grants, their limits, request rate limits, platform quotas or the approval flow, for example by having a program approve a post instead of a person;
- use Socializza, or the data you receive from Socializza, to scrape the platforms or to call their unofficial endpoints;
- upload, send or disseminate malware or other malicious code;
- share an agent's credentials outside the grant for which we issued them, for example by passing them to another agent or to third parties.
7. Reports
7.1. Anyone, customer or not, may report to us content held in Socializza that they consider illegal (Art. 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). Use the report form on the Socializza website or write to dsa@socializza.com.
7.2. The report contains:
- the reasons why you consider the content illegal;
- the exact electronic location of the content, for example the URL of the post;
- your name and email address, unless the report concerns one of the offences in Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU, on the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children;
- your statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.
7.3. A published post is held on the platform. You may also report it to that platform, with its own tools.
7.4. If you give us an email address, we confirm without delay that we have received the report and then tell you our decision.
7.5. A person examines the report and decides in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner. The decision states the reasons, the available means of redress and whether we used automated tools.
7.6. You may use the same procedure to report a breach of this policy that does not concern illegal content.
8. Consequences
8.1. If you, one of your members or one of your agents breaches this policy, we may, depending on the seriousness of the breach:
- pause an agent;
- suspend the workspace, an account or an agent, in whole or in part (section 15 of the terms of service);
- terminate the contract (section 16.3 of the terms of service);
- report the facts to the authorities, where the law requires us to (section 15.12 of the terms of service).
8.2. We notify you before suspending, with the statement of reasons in section 15.8 of the terms of service. If the risk is immediate, we suspend at once and send you the statement of reasons the same day.
8.3. The kill switch and agent pause remain available to you.
9. Changes
We change this policy under the same rules and with the same 30-day notice as the terms of service (section 19).
